SR. BIM 360 TECHNOLOGIST / LEAD: Full-time and In-Office Position

Kramer Design Associates (KDA) is looking for a Sr. BIM 360 Technologist | Lead to join our busy and expanding Toronto Office. You will engage with our multi-disiplinary practice in Signage and Wayfinding, Media Architecture, and Street Furniture on a broad range of projects at all phases. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working with BIM related software within a design, architectural or landscape firm and be passionate about computational design tools. This is an in-office, full-time position and the candidate will be required to work directly in our mid-town office Mondays through Fridays. BIM 360 Technologist | Lead Key Responsibilities Coordinate and review 3D models from consultants and / or architects. Integrate KDA’s graphics, renderings, signage and design programs within existing BIM 360 models. Monitor BIM model quality to ensure KDA’s designs are accurately coordinated and reflected in model. Manage BIM model changes and revisions throughout the project’s lifecycle, from schematic design through to construction administration. Exchange project data with multiple consultants and their assigned BIM Technologist(s). Coordinate with other KDA BIM Technologists. Liaise with design teams, clients, architects and landscape designers. Maintain BIM templates, families and other shared content.  Assist with of project-specific parametric families. Manage project model exports as per the project schedule. Maintain drawing folder structures, file naming conventions and drawing revisions. Provide ongoing technical support to project teams. Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices.
